I have been begging for a new camera -- and he surprised me this past weekend with a CANON 20D. This a great camera for me to start learning the basics of photography and I am so thrilled. So far it has been so much fun. Below are a few shots that I have taken the last few days.

I am such a "baby" at this -- so if you have any suggestions, great websites, or general tips, let me know. I am all ears.
Hugs,
W

Awesome book: Understanding Exposure.
I am loving your photos! The one of the kitty is fantastic! She is so beautiful!
You are taking GREAT pictures! Am so excited for you -- you will find a this to be a NEW passion...can't wait to see what you do with it!
Oh yeah...I LOVE the book Kim suggested -- Understanding Exposure-- in fact, have it back out reading it a bit each night...explains the photographic triangle...Apeture, Shutter Speed and ISO where even I can understand it....
Congrats!
Make sure that you purchase a Canon 50 mm 1.8 (or the more expensive version, 1.4) lens. It's the best $100 that you spend. The lens is fixed (meaning that your feet are the zoom); however, it makes the world of difference in your photography.
If you visit my blog, you'll see that most of my photos were taken either with a wide angle lens (Tamron - I LUV IT!) or my 50 mm 1.4
ENJOY!
